Since the creation in Genesis, people were given work to fulfill a vocation. Businesses and organizations today have massive social, economic, and environmental impact. When this is combined with a spiritual mission and placed in strategic locations to bring the Gospel to the least reached, the workplace becomes the mission field.
Reaching the “Unreached”
An “unreached” or “least-reached” people is a people group where there is no local community of believing Christians with adequate numbers and resources to evangelize this people group without outside assistance. According to the Joshua Project, an unreached people group must be less than or equal to 2% Evangelical Christian and have less than or equal to 5% professing Christians.
